An environmentally-friendly tourist residence in the Val d'Azun

Our tourist residence "Les chalets d'Arrens" is committed to a concrete ecological approach, in order to reduce our impact on nature, preserve natural resources and limit pollution for sustainable development.

We are happy to share this commitment with you, and will be happy to provide you with details of our approach in our documentation and at reception. The information available in your accommodation will help you to understand some of our practices.

As they are not a constraint for you, they only serve to respect our environment.
More than just a fad, ecology is a necessary change in terms of protecting natural resources and saving money. We have taken our inspiration from the guidelines of the Clé Verte, a French and European label and catering organization.

Discover our actions in favor of the environment

Waste management

selective collection and recycling (paper, cardboard, glass, plastics, etc.), composting of green waste, recycling of coffee capsules and plastic caps

Architecture and landscape

We maintain and enhance the green spaces of our tourist residence, with explanatory information.
Every year, we plant at least one tree around the residence and improve the thermal insulation of our homes.

Technical inspection and energy savings

We carry out self-monitoring of energy and water consumption and set up an electricity package for each type of accommodation and season to limit electricity consumption.

Awareness and Training

Every year, all our staff attend an awareness-raising meeting on our environmental policy.
We inform our customers of the ecological actions carried out in our tourist residence and encourage them to participate.
